The Snapping Turtles are hatching, then running off to the sea. Today I finally found one of these little beggars. With more than 30 nests (probably more like 50), you would think that I would have a hard time not stepping on them. It is amazing that they can dig their way out of a nest buried under all that rock in the railroad bed. The lower picture shows the hole they left and the rock rubble.
