A bunch of unusual birds as they past by

 Snow geese in a corn field.  Not normal in our fields but usually several miles east.
 The first Skunk cabbage about a month late
 The Hooded Merganser with the big head looks a bit miffed at the other guy attracting the female
 The big "do"
 The female fluffing up
 No water on the lake yet.
 A Snow goose swims past the sleeping Red heads

Snow ... the last pictures. Ok the start of the last pictures

 The highs for the day have started to be above freezing and you can see the snow on the bridge which shows how much must melt.  About 18"
The lake is frozen end to end.
