Yesterday and Today

 The play ground is was empty yesterday

Today the hills were shrouded in a lite snow.

We were being watched as we walked through Gannadagon this morning.

Single digit temps

 Single digit (F) temps make for a very short walk before Grenville's feet freeze. 

I let him out then got my camera and gear when I looked and here was coming back as fast as his frozen feet would carry him.

Winter ... still with us

 Spring must be here ... or it never left.  This Robin was not the only one hangin' at the south end of Canandiagua Lake.

This not my normal stuff, but I was shooting stills of my young friend dancing for a videographer.  They were creating her portfolio to send for job interviews.  Cool stuff. 

A Beaver on the pond

I was watching the Mallards trying not to take yet another picture of them.  I saw a wake that could not have been a duck  ... it was the Beaver.  I have seen signs of this guy all summer, but this is the first look I have had.  Of course it was too dark so I only had a short lens and couldn't get a good picture but he was great to see

Geocaching on the Lehigh

 We went geocaching on the Lehigh Trail. Under the snow is a former railroad - the Lehigh Valley.

 Horses are a common sight around here

Katy is about 7, I think, and blind, but that does not stop her from coming out for the walk and play in the snow.  It is really great to see.

These may be the same Mallards from a different point and a cold, snowy day.  We have had about 150-200mm of the white stuff.

It was a sunny day, but cooler than necessary so the Blue Jay is all fluff.

Boughton Park

 This is done live not in Photoshop.  It is much easier in PS but I finally tried it live.

I think I saw this Red Tail in the park but this time he waited for me to change lens and then change batteries before I could take his picture.
