Canvas Backs on the pond

These guys stopped by to use the pond with the Canada Geese that enjoy the golf course.  I'm not sure which way they are going north or south.

Just local winter in the frozen north

 Canandiagua Lake is frozen as far as I can see and probably completely frozen for the first time is years.

 Open water is hard to find for these Mallards

 These guys were along the path on one of our very short walks.  It has been very cold and Grenville's feet get cold .
