Setset and fall

Last nights sunset was very unique.  Blood red and covering the whole sky.
It rained all day but we managed to get this stream with our camera covered with plastic covering.

Just before the rain started ...

I think this is a Dandelion, but not quite sure
This little guy escaped from Grenville who ran past the tree but was happy to have caused panic and havoc in the neighborhood.

Fishers Park

This deer ran from where we first saw her then stopped and looked and waited till I got my camera out of my bag, pulled the lens cap and turned it on. I don't think she could see Grenville in the weeds or she would have been long gone.
I think this is an Iron Heron.
If you look very closely to the left of center then down about center you can see the Iron Heron. As you can also see it is out in the middle of nothing. A little strange.

The Auburn Line

This Caboose says Lehigh, but is really sitting on the old Auburn Line Tracks. It just looks like it could have been there 100 years ago.
This is a siding of the Lehigh that comes over to the Old Auburn

Geocaching along the Erie Canal

We went Geocaching along the Erie Canal today and this is what we found an incredibly small magnetic cache. I thought it was just the magnet and the cache had fallen somewhere.
This a boat you can rent and travel the canal. It is just like the old packet boats, but has a motor instead of a mule for much less muss and fuss.
The grapes are getting ripe. This is a bunch of real Native American wild grapes.

A cloudy, dark day

Same picture as below just playing with Pixel Bender in PhotoShop.
It's cloudy and dark so we nailed the flash units on the camera and took pictures of "whatever"

A dull week

I saw this bear at the park today. Ok, it is Coco the Newfie but she sure looks like a bear particularly since I blurred the picture.
It has been a while since I uploaded any pictures. I just realized this. The week has been very hot and muggy with no real picture ops. So these pictures a lame but all I've got.
