Lake and Fireworks

These are pictures of the Pumkinhook Carnival fireworks I think.  I took them off my front steps and am not quit sure where I am looking.
 Taken last night.

Butterflies

A Tiger Swallowtail works around the Thistle.
The Tiger didn't stop with one Thistle
The White Admiral made it's appearance.  Not sure if the the White  out ranks the Red Admirals (see 4 May 12)  we had earlier this.  They may be on different sides.

Deer Tiger

Fortunately there was no breeze blowing so that this faun didn't get blown away. The inspiration for  of Sally Field in the Flying Nun?
A Thistle or Tiger Swallowtail.

Clearwing

A Hummingbird Clearwing Moth.  This guy was about half the size of the others I have seen in the past at about 1 inch.  The others were the size of a Hummingbird and acted just like them.

Bristol Mtn rain

It was raining so hard that I pulled in the Bristol Mountain Parking lot to wait it out.  I had to wait for it to let up a bit so I could see the mountain and take a picture without getting soaked.

Butterflies

Finally a Monarch, as I listen to reports of them being further north in Canada than ever before
This is probably a Painted Lady or some Checkerspot
