Christmas around the ranch

I watched this Red Christmas Fox pounce several times right there, but I didn't see him catch anything.  Not sure what he was up to.
When I got out to get his picture he just stood and posed for me.   He wouldn't pounce.
These Turkeys in a field down the road would have been just what a fox needed for a Christmas dinner.

Hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas

Falls

 Taughannock Falls
Ice falls on my house

This is not letting me respond to the comment so:  the falls were taken yesterday, Thanksgiving.  The Icicles were today.  The trees were in the sun but the falls were in a dark hole.  When I lighten the image I may have over done the trees making it look like fall ... hey it is fall.  Very cold cool either day.

First snow

Not all the Mallards have moved south yet
The Christmas Nomes Trolls have been returned next to the bridge where this Jack-o-lantern was placed before Holloween
The snow also returned today.  The trail as we saw it.
The snow did not bather these golfers.  Don't know if they ever did find the ball.

Turkeys look at Thanksgiving

These guys were in the field next to the trail today, but didn't stick around very long when they saw my Hunting Orange.  They must be local because Canada's Thanksgiving was a couple weeks ago.

Birds

This Red Tailed Hawk would not wait for a nice portrait
I was taking a picture of the broken limbs on the tree caused by the overload of apples when this Downy Woodpecker insisted on a picture

Pumpkins

Someone dragged these guys out to the bridge a lot of work after having spent all the time carving them.

Brad got it right with my dog.

Pix from the past several days

 Sunrise was unusually great
When the leaves are changing there is little probability of someone swimming
Northern Finches I took the picture the lower right guy and discovered the others in post processing
This must be a milkweed but not the normal ones we see.
