Grenville was looking for a snake very close to this guy but didn't see him or smell him as bathed in the sun on a very cool day.

... Ahead of time
The Jack-in-the-Pulpit was a big surprise. They are usually out just as the Trillium are ending but the White Trillium are just starting. Everything is about 4 weeks ahead of time.
