Yet more fall folliage

 Not much foliage left so we will move to a new subject soon.  But for now MORE foliage.

Grenville is interested in something ... probably a falling leaf.

Waning colour

 I just love the purple colour that some plants down in the swamp turn.

Aspens are about the only colour left.

Milkweed in the frost

 The frost is just melting off the milkweed.  Not the first frost, but near the first "hard" frost of the season

Jewels on strings

 Fog that lingered all day.

Actually an all day mist.

Fall in the Hills

 The Turkey Vulture flys with the colors in the backdrop

 It was cool this morning but this Clouded Sulfur was still going

I love this shot and have taken it over the years, but a Weeping Willow is playing havoc with the view.

Mallards

 

A couple Mallards enjoy this pond where they have been for a while.  Will they stay the winter?
