 A Sharp-shinned Hawk watches for dinner to fly by.

A Red-tailed Hawk circles looking dinner to hop out in the open.

It went up like a house on fire ...

 It was a frosty, fridge morning 2 hours before daylight.  The call went out ... to set a house on fire.  The fire dept. had been setting fires in the house for training and now it was time to level it.

Beaver and Geese on the pond

 Last I saw this tree was standing.  It looks like a beaver may have finished what he started last spring.  Good to see since I have not seen any other beaver signs

I was surprised to see this guy.  It is late Oct. but a warm day.  I haven't seen many snakes this summer and it was good to get one more Garter Snake
