Last I saw this tree was standing. It looks like a beaver may have finished what he started last spring. Good to see since I have not seen any other beaver signs

Bird and Beast
The King Fisher still around and looking for lunch
I was surprised to see this guy. It is late Oct. but a warm day. I haven't seen many snakes this summer and it was good to get one more Garter Snake

Fort Hill
It is a rainy day and the hunters are in the woods so we had to go to the top of Fort Hill (part of the local NY park). This gate is to keep bicycles on one side but allow people to snake through.

A misty day in the Victor Park.
Mallards that Grenville scared up.
The dry shadow of a maple leaf on the wet pathway. The leaf must have blown away although it was misting but not very windy.

More dead leaves
But first this hawk was enjoying breakfast at the side of the road when I went flying past. Since he just watched as I past I turned around to get some pix of him. Unfortunately he didn't stick around.
Now back to the dead leaves in Boughton Park
