Snow ... the last pictures. Ok the start of the last pictures

The highs for the day have started to be above freezing and you can see the snow on the bridge which shows how much must melt.  About 18"
The lake is frozen end to end.

A day at the park ... Mertensia Park

A look up the Mud Creek at the Interurban bridge, now used as part of the Auburn Hiking trail.
The Mertensia (Blue Bells) are coming soon - maybe
Grenville enjoys a hot day on the trail.  It got up to 22°F from -2°F at 7:00 AM this morning
Schools out, let's hit the hill with our sleds
Further up Mud creek.

Local color ... mostly white

A good day to sit out with a cool drink and kick some sand snow in a weaklings face.  The temperature started at -17°C (1° F) and after a valiant struggle reached a high of -13*C (10°F).  As I scribe this it is -18°C (-1°F)
The law office in town but just one of many with icicles hanging on.
A local out door restaurant seating area and no one enjoying the atmosphere.
