Things are growing in the forest.

The fern and some other plants are greening up just like  we don't have at least 2 more months of winter.

A tropical day ...

 The deer have survived the hunt.

 As a camera shooter what does this mean?  I have to put my cloths on?

 It was a typical January day ... Sunny, warm(above freezing) here in the Upstate.  

I think I misspelled that It was an atypical day. Cold and grey is the norm.

Past couple days ...

 The plow has been sitting waiting to work.

 Looking east, but a little later the sunset in the west matched the tails I was following.  I was driving so no pictures.

A tirade

Since there is not much to picture I will actually tirade blog!  

Why do drug manufacturers package small pills in bottles with large shoulders?  Note how the pill sits comfortably on the outside.  It sits even better on the inside of the shoulder.  When the bottle is full they build a ramp so you can get the pills easily, but when near empty you get either all or, usually, nothing until you apply vigorous shaking and the proper words ... dashblast the gosh darn blanky heek etc.

Bitter cold

Not much to picture the past few days and because of the bitter cold the walks have been shortened.

 Happy New Year.  Saw this young male Northern Harrier at the south end of the lake.
