A day at the park ... Mertensia Park
A look up the Mud Creek at the Interurban bridge, now used as part of the Auburn Hiking trail.
The Mertensia (Blue Bells) are coming soon - maybe
Grenville enjoys a hot day on the trail. It got up to 22°F from -2°F at 7:00 AM this morning
Schools out, let's hit the hill with our sleds
Further up Mud creek.

Local color ... mostly white
A good day to sit out with a cool drink and kick some sand snow in a weaklings face. The temperature started at -17°C (1° F) and after a valiant struggle reached a high of -13*C (10°F). As I scribe this it is -18°C (-1°F)
The law office in town but just one of many with icicles hanging on.
A local out door restaurant seating area and no one enjoying the atmosphere.

Flint Creek at Phelps NY
Grenville chased up these Mallards and was very proud of himself.
The Girl Scout placed several of these signs along the trail since the last time I was along here. I think they had some help since each sign included the flat top rock.
The cascade

Warming today
The bridge at Stid Hill
With all the cold lately I expected to see the lake ice over completely, but as you can see not so much
Geocashing today and found this cashe. He gets many style points in my book. Great fun.

A cool morning
Disregard the date/time data in the image. I am not sure I have the software nor hardware to change the date/time, but it is a pain. This was yesterday night at 2200 hours.
This was this morning about -9.4°F. Much cooler than the tropical temperatures we are used to in January.
