Another WAY too hot day

I had to get this - Grenville doesn't realize he is swimming.  Had realized it he would have stopped instantly He hates to swim. But it was too hot to stop feeling gooood.

Along the Trolly trail

 This is a different Green Heron from the other day which is kind of funny since I haven't seen any most of the spring and summer.

 I ahve not seen many butterflies this year so getting a picture of this Viceroy is great.

A couple turtles just basking on a log in intense heat  today.  They say it might hit 100° F today with a dewpoint over 70° F.

 A small Green Heron hunts for food in the swamp while hiding on high it the tree branches

A warm day

 This is wine country but these wild grapes will never get that far.  They will feed some birds

It wouldn't stop raining in April and May, but almost has not rained since.  So things are getting dry and This Robin was having a great time in my neighbors birdbath.

Flint Creek

The cascade at Flint Creek just barely has water flowing since we have not had rain in about 3 weeks, but the family has found enough to wade through on a really hot day.
