Not all from today
The King Fisher was fishing in the remains of the beaver pond 2 days ago.
Today this Morning Cloak was out. We had frost, but I guess it warmed up enough before noon to get him out and about.
In this location there are lots of spring flowers this is a Trout Lily
And the Blood Root
and these guy whose name just escaped me.

Sign Post of Spring
This cutie is marching across the path to lay her eggs.
First wild flowers
Colts foot
One victim o the spring rains is the beaver dam. I haven't seen any beaver for a couple years and now the pond is shrinking. It will be interesting to watch how it develops in the coming years.
The Trillium have about a week, but are coming along.

Woodducks
This pair of Wood ducks were doing what Woodies do, but it still makes me laugh at how they can sit on a twig with big duck feet.
The male was in the next tree over.

April showers bring lots of water
The water is stacking up trying to get through the channel under the old InterUrban.
Ganagaro (Mud Creek) is at flood stage
We move to Flint Creek in Phelps, NY. From the graph you may notice a slight increase in the flow recently ... about 10X more volume.
It looks like this at the cascades
