Blue Moon

Here is the August Blue Moon in case you missed it.  I think it is more strawberry moon, but, by definition, it is blue and Don't forget it.

New on the trail

This guy showed up on the trail this weekend.  Not sure what it is - a beaver, woodsman, none of the above.  I like it.

Deer in velvet

This is one of two deer I saw in velvet still.

A little more Forked Lake

 Notin' says lovin like somethin from the dutch oven.

These marauding Mallards would not go away or shut up after I made the mistake of feeding them.

Long Lake

 I've been camping on Forked Lake, NY for the past week.  It rained but was still great inbetween the drops.  Great fun and I want to go back immediately even if I did just leave.

Tiger

Tiger  Swallowtail sucks it up ,,, what ever that is.

A Dear Deer picture

 This is unusual, a buck taking care of a fawn.  Probably a pedophile deer.

At the carnival of course you have cabbage bowling.  I'm not sure if the object was to knock over the pins or demolish the cabbage.

Giant Swallowtail

This is called a Giant Swallowtail even though it is about the same size as a Tiger Swallowtail.
