Raspberry flowers in the swamp
The Yellow Flag is past prime probably because of the beating from all the rain lately.

An other great trip to Zurich Bog
These young Trumpeter Swains were sharing the transient pond with the Canada Geese and the Mallard duck.
In the bog were the usual suspects - The Cinnamon fern
The carnivorous, but very tiny, Dewdrop
The Pink Lady Slipper.
The Bison were also in the field with the above group.

Crossing paths
This Hind was on the path this morning, but it was so warm Grenville said "never mind it's too hot to give chase"
Later this Cardinal crossed our path. The Railroad crossed also but sort of who-cares.

Birds, bugs, bogs, buds
This green frog has got lots of room with all the rain we have gotten and are expecting
Finally it is waqrm enough for the Tiger Swallow tails
Some day I'll get off my butt and look up what this is. I just like the picture.
I also like this picture of the Mandrake/Mayapple blossom
This is just about 1/2 of the herd of Turkey Vultures that were flying around. Kind of makes one nervous that you may be what they are watching. Don't trip!

Butterflys are finially out
Yellow warbler checks out the buds.
Blue Azure if you see this guy flying he has light blue wing tops but trying to get that shot is tough and he rarely fans his wings while stopped.

Another rainy morning ... have I used that before?
Grenville was running all over the place with his nose to the ground coming to this tree and just baying as only a hound dog can. The raccoon was the problem.
I just like this picture of a Blue Heron across the pond and thru the fog
The Mandrake/Mayapple are in bloom if you get down low enough to see them.

Clark's Glenn...
I didn't bring my tripod because I didn't think I could actually get to the falls because of all the rain we have had this spring. But not bad handheld.

This Cardinal was doing his part to add colour on an other wise gray day.

Geese on the pond
On Wed there were 4 goslings now only 3. So sad, but that is life in the wild. Someone else lives on. They have grown so much since Wed. they are feeding well.

Oriole and Trillium
This Baltimore Oriole was going from bud to bud on the wild apple tree.
The Trillium are about done as the past through this pink phase.

Goslings
Mama and Goslings at Crossroads Park. Oddly Grenville didn't bark at them, but he did run around herding them to the center.

The spring sun is out
This Painted Turtle was only 1 of many out sun bathing probably with SPF15 at least. This is unusual in that I rarely see them here, but canoeing close by they all over the logs when the sun is out.

Turkeys, Trillium and Wooley Bear
The opening day of Turkey season! They are unaware, they can't read.
A Trout Lily hangs around
Every where I look they tell me there 40-70 different Trillium. No one seems to have a list of them and this is one that is not listed. So just enjoy.
Great White Trillium
Purple Trillium. These were all taken with moving just swiveling to get the shot.

I think the Wooley Bear is predicting a long summer because his brown strip is so wide or maybe winter is going to hang on.
